As a teen mother, I was the recipient of many community programs that assisted me during tough financial times. I am forever grateful for those programs and I wanted to pay it forward. My daughter's school has a program for their teen parents so I reached out to the PEARLS director.

"PEARLS is a positive youth development program for young women who are pregnant or parenting. The program’s mission is to postpone future pregnancies, develop parenting and life skills and promote academic success. PEARLS groups meet in school for one hour per week for 26 weeks and engage in five out-of-school enrichment activities."

She sent me information for their Christmas drive. I scurried on over to Amazon and bought several things and dropped them off at their office. See how easy it is to give back?
